Improving the Socio-Economic Status and Livelihood of Persons with Disabilities
This project helped reduce poverty among people with disabilities by supporting small business creation, training 139 individuals in business skills, and establishing a national Rehabilitation Department. It also led to Lesotho ratifying the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities and introduced a Special Education programme for teachers and students.
